And now, since you all know I love food...here is a stroll through the fish market of Venice and adjoining fruit and veg....
Now a stroll through the fish market....
Long distance travelers...lobsters with gigantic carbon footprint...
This school of fish is actually wired to appear to be leaping.....
Eels....and in the lower left a HUGE pile of crab claws...
And as the market closes up, the 'lunch crowd' arrives....
and with the Grand Canal in the background...huge quantities of lovely fruits.......... I sat on the taxi landing and enjoyed the view and the activities of the canal....
